have you ever done any good deeds like walk an old lady across the road or whatever?

i mow the elderly lady next doors lawn every month for free and help her bring in her shopping if i notice her outside

i dont expect anything from it but i feel good for helping her out

I often think about doing good deeds but at the end of the day I just can't be arsed most of the time.

Yesterday I found a small kitten by my driveway and it was all by itself. It also had an infected eye and was just standing there so I picked it up and I took it to a near by animal shelter with my little brother. Every one in my family thought that it was cute because it was so small but of course it was sick.

I wanted to keep it but at this point I cannot afford to have a pet. Hell im barely keeping myself alive with the money im making from work which isn't enough.

A few weeks ago a guy in front of me at the ATM walked off before collecting his money out of the ATM.

There was about £150 there... I couldn't remember what the guy looked like, so I was left with few options.

I went into Tesco express and stood by the tils for about 10 minutes, and then a guy came around the corner to the tils and I remembered it was him. Still, I waited a minute just to make sure, and then he opened his wallet and looked confused because it was empty. This pretty much confirmed that was the guy who walked off, so I handed him his money.

He said "Thanks for being so honest".

My girlfriend said "We should have just left with the money." but I wouldn't have felt right about it.. I mean, £150 could be a persons weekly salary, and depending on their situation, it could ruin their lives to lose that much money, not matter how little, due to error like walking off. I wouldn't like it to happen to me, even if it is just £150.

Yeah, you're like me in that respect, you could never harm a person even slightly deliberately.

I don't really do good deeds, so to speak...

I just try and be a generally nice person and help people whenever I can really.
