Hmm...

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - I actually though that this game was visually beautiful. Minish Cap is the only other Zelda game I've finished (I've gotten right up to the end of both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, but stopped playing both when I got to the last dungeon). Anyways,I loved Wind Waker. The dungeons were lovely (so were the bosses), there was a huge amount of sidequests (as usual with Zelda) and I loved Salvatore on Spectacle Island - "And we don't want to hear about how the pirate ships look like barrels!"

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - Awesomeness. The sequels were great too (apart from the dodgy walking bits in Rebel Strike; in particular, the Dagobah level), but I've always loved the original. I started playing it again on the N64 (I hope it comes to the VC) and I got all but two gold medals. Which for me is quite an achievement.

Half-Life 2 - I did love Portal, and Episode 1 and 2, but when I first played it this game blew me away. I ended up playing it around four times in a row, and I still wasn't bored. Haven't played any of the Orange Box games in a while now...

F-Zero X/ F-Zero GX - Both of these were awesome and hard-as-nails. Although I' not that good at it, this is my favourite racing game.

Kirby's Adventure - I'd play this just for Butter Building. Do do do do do do doo, do do do do do doo...

The only disappointing point of the game was having to search for the triforce pieces. Other than that the game is beautiful in every conceivable way.

Doom, Counterstrike, COD 4 - The ultimate evolution of realistic FPS and multiplayer gaming.

Final Fantasy - I still can't believe I wait turns to play a video game by myself, but I do it.

Super Mario - For bringing the entire family together through all kinds of wacky games throughout the years.

Pong, Championship Baseball, Tecmobowl, FIFA, Madden - For giving rise to sports like none other

Finally, Wii Sports & Wii Fit - Now we all have an excuse to stay indoors instead of stepping outside the house to get fit.

Heck no. After experiencing Oot and MM (especially OOT's) horse back riding, I was so pumped. Sailing, on the seas, with nothing, but tiny little islands? Errr... no thanks.

WW was horrifically easy. And again, you had these tiny little islands to explore. What it suffered from, as did TP (but TP was far worse in this regard), was each place you went to was mainly a dungeon. Oh wow, new island, that actually has room for you to explore properly? Oh wait, its all essentially just a dungeon. BLAH. No thanks.

WW is also an example of pathetic easiness. I mean, in TP, there was little chance of you dying, but at least the puzzles were harder than WW.

Graphics were nice, but to me the overall story didn't feel... well, deep enough, you know? A bit too light hearted for me to be a Zelda game, and Link wasn't "legend" material. He appeared too weak, and too... normal. I like the reclusive, yet happy, yet mysterious hero that is our link. Unless its a spin-off, like Four Swords Adventure.

And question: after the amazing sidequests in MM, which really got you involved with your surroundings rather than making the surroundings a dungeon, why didn't they take that on in the series?!

And the real cruncher: the game lacked enough atmosphere to me. OOT especially was dripping with atmosphere that made the game so amazingly awesome.

Thats just me personally though

hmmm this could be quite tough....

Mario Galaxy - well all the mario games are awesome, but this is the creme de la creme of mario Platforming at its very best.

Zelda : Ocarina of Time - I'm a huge zelda fan and could quite easily have picked 5 zelda games to be my top 5 gaming masterpieces - but I decided just to stick with the best.

F-Zero GX - racing at it's best - extremely fast, and insanely hard to master.

Sai / Devil Dice - a PS1 game that sold about 3 copies world wide...but I was one of those 3 people - you're a little devil and you go around pushing dices so that the dices all lie on the same number...so novel and extremely addictive - especially the 2 player never ending score attack - I can keep going on that with my friend for hours.

Metroid Prime - My favourite first person shoo...I mean adventure game.

(and a close 6th...- I couldn't narrow it to 5 )
Wonderful World / The World Ends With You - normally I dislike square enix RPGs, but this one got me hooked from the start - I think mostly because of the story line. - most other RPGs have too predictable story lines...or no story line at all
