I haven't got the time, patience or will to rebuild this place anymore.
I've had no support in the reconstruction of the site, and no input.
I might end up dumping this place and set up a gallary site for my projects. They seem to be the only recurring hits this site gets now anyway.
Unless someone can talk me out of it. I still don't want to lose evering we achieved here over the past few years.

Yeah I haven't been on Xbox Live in a long time, I haven't renewed it. Thats probably why.
To get the new site up and running I need to build a content management system and have a specification. I've started it all I just haven't finished it because I don't know what you guys need and what would be best.
The simple solution is to just scrap the work I've done and go with another pre-build CMS in order to get the site up and running again.

What sort of site do you think we should go to. Some sites that run like forums are pretty good becasue you can post updates easy and they can be organised. That way you can have news forums ect but its not always that pretty to look at.
That way you could tie the forums into the site but if there are very few members it will look empty.

Well I intended to ditch the forums and ditch the current user database (after an email inviting them to the new site) because its full of junk users and bots) so this place would be pretty empty.

True. we would just have to try and get more people here. Advertise, post on forums, RSS ect...
Are you going for a complete new build ? I had some old ideas that I did. Basic site layouts ect I can post

Eamonn, not yet, but thats the reason why we stopped the site. There was a new one in the pipeline, but I haven't had any support in getting it finished.
Well I've got a design I like now, so I'm going to stick with that.
Still boils down to: What about the core site? Sure I started building one, was going well, but clearly its never going to get finished.
