well its not about playing games, its about having it built in. Do you think a US HD-DVD player will work with a PAL 360?

You could make some sort of portable 360 machine for playing the Marketplace games on. Or maybe that would be a bit of a waste.

How about a 360 arcade machine with a case and everything and you just upload the discs? I don't think anyone's done that before. You can have 2 control setups one for arcade and the other one for regular play and have it hooked up to an ethernet cord for online play or game downloads.

Buy like a Used big screen TV for like $200 BGP or GBP and make a case mod for it.

The arcade machine should have all th art of all the top 360 games with a 360 X 3D model in the front.

I designed an xbox 360 arcade, there are too many problems with it.

Unless I sell it, I don't really have the room for it. And if I built one, what would it have? How big would it be? What size and type of screen? Arcades typically have CRTs, but that doesn't really show off the HD capabilities.

You can mount a flat screen TV instead of using CRT's come on man this is the new generation. As for selling it sure as long as you make back what you spent and then some.

As for the size why not make it the same size as a regular arcade machine. The main core unit should lie inside while the Lens should be like in the front for fitting in games.

What types of problems did you encounter when designing?

Lens?

Problems, more like variables..

Screen dimensions, speaker dimensions, what speakers to use, what Xbox to use, how many controllers, where the controllers should go (aka free, built in, if free then storage) game storage, keyboard, whether to include charge and play for 4 controllers and a dock for them, etc.

An arcade machine would be cool but yes, i can imagine it taking up loads of room and if i had one stuck in my house my girlfriend would not be pleased.

Neither would mine, even if it was until I sold it.

The profits would have to be stupidly high for her to agree.

ie, £400 in costs, £4000 in sales

"Bitch, get back in that kitchen, and make me some pie!"

Trust me on this one, following what South Park tells you doesn't always end well.

... Thank God I don't live with my girl and even if I did I doubt I would be worry about what she thought or even get angry about the things I do. Unless there's that cuff on my finger which Won't be happening for quite some time I could basically do and be free of what I want to do.

My friend's GF is vegetarian and made him be a veggie for 3 months.

Even now he's not allowwed to go to KFC without getting told off.
But it's not because of the meat, it's because of the "saturated fats".

Pfft, my GF is a Vegan and I ask if she wants a bite of my cheeseburger.

...

Okay that sounded weird.

But yeah, trust me, she doesn't eat meat.
Any kind of meat.
At all.
It's really quite depressing.

...
*Sigh*

I'm gonna go play with my guitar now...

...

Okay that sounded weird.
