What you want to be able to do, and what you want us to provide you.

I dont think that there was something missing here but improvement is always a good sign!

Just for the record i can relate to all your frustration because i do that for a living... i am a web designer

Yeah, it's even worse at such a large scale such as this.


So far, these are the sections we go by:

Front Page - Summary from all across the website of the latest
News - All News (with comments)
Reviews - All Reviews with public rating (with comments)
Blogs - Members blog, anyone can post (with comments)
Downloads - File download section for members
Game Database - Member updatable index of games, release dates, publishers, etc.
Profiles - Like facebook, you can customise and comment on peoples profiles at their discretion. They will show a list of awards that the person has earnt for themselves.

Everything will have a moderator button that will alert a moderator about abuse if someone presses it.

In terms of priority, Downloads and Game database won't be available at first, but the other sections will.

I'm not having forums.. I've juggled them in the past, adding and removing them because they just haven't worked for us. I'll be removing them again for good in place of the blog system. Anything that needs to be said can be said there and commented on.

Just to add, you can gave group PM's via invite, which will be replacing the majority of the lost forum system.

Whether that will be part of the launch version remains to be seen, but it will definitely be a feature that will be included on the site.

But seeing as you're allow comments on news items then I guess it'll be alright.

Yeah, but you also gain the ability to have private group chats so at least you can moderate who gets to read what you say.

But the blogs can act as the forums though, so it's not lost at all.
