A new week and a new set of Virtual Console games for the Wii are released. The first is Yoshi's Cookie, a classic NES puzzle game. With over 100 levels and some retro multiplayer action, this game is one of the must buy games on the Wii's nostalgic download service. The other game released this week is also another NES game. Bases Loaded is an arcade style baseball game that lets you choose from over 30 players. You can either play just one quick game or try to take on an entire season and win the pennant. For just five hundred points each you can own both of these great Nitntendo games.

 Yesterday if you played your Wii or was woken up by a blinding blue light then you may have been prompted to download the latest version of the Wii's firmware (3.2), and then once you finished the download you found that it did absolutely nothing. Yes that is right, literally almost nothing. Well, nothing that you could see. According to the Nintendo Customer Service site it made some updates 'behind the scenes' on the Wii and helped the systems overall performance. So overall...a waste of an update.
