March of the Minis!
Think Donkey Kong with Lemmings thrown in, minus Princess Peace and you might start to get the idea. (I always thought she was a div anyway).

A few days ago we mentioned that Halo DS was in development for the Nintendo DS, but was pulled from development, in a blog article by IGN's Matt Casamassina. http://blogs.ign.com/Matt-IGN/2007/01/04/42284
Of course, IGN's reputation has been severly tarnished over the past year by stupid pranksters like Matt, making up false hope stories which he quickly pulls from IGN to spark rumour and chaos. This is no exception!

I was all set to like "Puffy AmiYumi: The Genie and the Amp." I actually like their show (to a degree). And I often like platform games. But Puffy AmiYumi tries for innovative and hits annoying with its control system.
You control your character (Ami or Yumi, one of whom is snarky and wears purple and the other of whom is sweet and wears pink) by strumming guitar strings on the DS's touch screen. (You can also just push the A, B, X and Y buttons.) The controls are frustrating -- I was never clear on which string did what, thanks to the many possible combinations. And since all four buttons are taken up with the attack controls, you use the left shoulder button to jump. I found that fairly inconvenient.
The graphics are colorful but not especially well done; they have a sort of crude look which I found disappointing.
Rent it. This one's not worth buying. |

The successful Metroid Prime series has hit the Nintendo DS after delays and the addition of an online mode. Ok, so the reviews a little late, but the question still begs to be answered, how does it stack up to its excellent predecessors on the Gamecube? |

Brain Training is one of those very unique games which you really can’t compare to anything else on the market today. Part of the Touch Generations series and a highly successful game in Japan and America, Brain Training is most definitely different, but what makes it so different and why is it so successful? |

As the title suggests this is a completely new Super Mario Bros game, this is not a port of an older game with new features, it’s completely new. The story is very simple, while princess peach is enjoying a nice walk with Mario; suddenly peach’s castle is attacked. Mario runs up to the castle to try and save it and at the same time Bowser Jr. appears and kidnaps the princess. Meaning it’s up to Mario to save the princess once again. Well here it is, the long awaited sequel to the GBA smash hit "Mario & Luigi: superstar saga" Unlike the first game which was GBA based, this one is on the DS, meaning more buttons, more screens. So here's the story: Prof E.Gadd has created a time machine and Peach uses it to visit the Mushroom kingdom's past. Unfortunately she goes to a time where the mushroom kingdom is invaded by aliens called the shroobs. These are nasty little purple mushrooms who are trying to take over the world. Although at the start it is not clear what happened to peach when she met the aliens, only that she is gone now. But thanks to the time travel ripping holes in the time-space continuum, or something. There are random time holes throughout Peaches castle, which the bros use to travel back in time, where all they find is a baby peach, a middle-aged toads worth and; themselves as babies. The brothers and baby brothers? team up, and as in the first game where you controlled each brother with each button on the GBA, so is the same for this game on the DS. Once again this is the typical turn based RPG, only you can press buttons at the right time to increase damage. You engage in combat by making physical contact with an enemy in the field |
