After all the months of Waiting I along with 900,000 americans finally have our Wii's at hand.............that does not sound right......My Impressions of the Wii inside.
I was able to get the Wii today at 10:00 AM along with 14 lucky people, others had to wait in line at Circuit City, Best Buy and all other retailer. We (my friends and I) had to stand in line but it was already guaranteed that we were going to get our hands in the ever popular Wii.
The first thing I did was drop my friend off at the train station and then I was off to Circuit City to see if I can find a copy of Zelda. When I arrived there it was 10:45 AM there was still a line (Because of the exitement I forgot my camera at home so I was not able to take pictures). Before I entered CC, I put my Wii on the trunk of my car because I did not want anyone to steal it. After going in and talking to the guy at CC he told me that the Wii games were not on display yet and that I needed to stand in line if I wanted to get a game. So I said screw it I'll come back later.
Right after I got home I had to put away my gamecube in storage (it will see the light of day when i retire and i revisit all my old games) replacing it with the Wii. The Wii lives up to its expectations and more however it does get you tired. Sure you can sit down but its more fun if you stand up and start playing like if you're part of the game. My mom, my 2 brothers and my little sister played the Wii and they were having a blast with Wii Sports. As of right now this is all I can leave you with. Look for my Wiiview within the following days. Right now I need to hunt down a Zelda game and purchase it if possible.
For US Readers: in case you did not get a Wii today gamestop/ebgames said that they will have more units on black friday. So just hold on a bit longer.
To the Rest of the world: The Wii is only a couple of months away just hold on a little bit longer. Trust me it is worth it. |
