Shake your tailfeathers with Happy Feet the Video Game
????????? Happy Feet is a game based on a movie by the same title. The story is about a young penguin that was born different than everyone else and now he does not fit in with most of them. The movie is aimed at a younger audience and so is the game.

????????? Happy Feet is a game where you need to compete against the clock or against a partner. It is all about winning gold medals. It does have part of the story line of the movie but when it comes time to play it goes its own direction until you finish the level. Playing this game is really boring because all the levels repeat themselves even though it is a different event. There is no new added material it is all just the same from the last or previous level.

????????? The game is aimed for a younger audience so it would be really unfair for me to give the game play a bad score because the game does not appeal to me and is not meant for adults, unless they are playing with the children. I gave the game to my little brother and I observed his expressions and what he thought of the game.

????????? While playing the game my little bro. seems to enjoy playing the game. He did get bored from time to time and after one hour he would turn it off and then go outside to play. Later on in the day I would see him back in his room playing the game. He said that the game was OK. After playing and passing the game within a couple of hours I asked him what type of score the game should receive. He said an 8/10. Of course I took his score into consideration but then I decided to play the game to check out on the other features.

????????? Scoring medals is easy, and so are the controls. All you really need to press is A and B along with the Analog stick and the D-Pad. It is easy to control and easy to get a really high score in any level. You can either get a Bronze, Silver and Gold medal. I got a couple of silver medals through out the game which really made me feel like bad because I had a medal in all other events. The game moves from event to event. That is how the story line progresses.

????????? The developers did a good job on the graphics and the visuals because there is basically no environment. All it is is snow and mountains with penguins. As well as the graphics the sound effects are not bad for a game where only wind blows, waves hit the shores and penguins dance to the 80?s music and shake their booty. That is right the penguins actually dance and you have to control them. It is part of a mini-game where it features style and game play like DDR. If you have a dance pad you can choose to take it out and watch your children dance. I?m sure it will probably work seeing as how you do need to press the D-pad to move where the arrows point you to move.

Closing Comments:
????????? Happy feet is a great children?s game. When I first got the game my baby sister just snatched it off my hand and held it tight like if she didn?t want anyone to take it away from her. Of course eventually I got it back after many long hours and many dollars that she asked me to give her in return. Children will have a blast with this game with easy controls to master and easy mini games as well as the dancing if you have a dance pad. Also as an added bonus it comes with a free Happy Feet movie ticket for children worth $7 bucks and it is redeemable at any movie theatre. The game also features a family mode which is like Multiplayer where you can dance, belly slide and swim.
Game Play: My little bro. enjoyed it and says he would give the game play an 8/10. Graphics: With nothing else to focus on the graphics on this game are top notch. 9/10 Sound: Great voice over and sound effects but the 80?s died in 1990. 7/10 Controls: easy for children to understand and easy to get used to. 10/10 Life Span: Many levels that you can go back to and try to get a better medal but only a few un-lockable?s in the entire game. 5/10 Bonus Points: Free movie ticket that saves you $7 bucks. 3/5 Total Score. 84% = B
