Fantasy golf, real swing.
Wii Golf: a mini-game that’s part of the Wii Sports package. A short golf game that can show you how you can use the Wii to play a golf game. The game is addictive and fun for up to four players however the keyword is it's too short. There are only 9 holes and many features missing such as zooming in, single play, character match, season mode, etc.
You get your points and maybe you make it to a Pro, but really there’s nothing else you can do.

Wii Golf left me wanting more. I'm also a person who likes fantasy better than the real world. I don’t want to spend a lot of money buying a Tiger Woods game.
Super Swing Golf is nothing but fantasy, with some hot animation girls and guys wearing tight shirts and ripped pants. That’s correct: Golf has never been so gay.

When you first start the game it will ask you the basics: What’s your name and who do you want to be.
Not only can you customize your characters but each character has their own unique features. Customizing isn't something new in golf games and in this game you can customize their looks and clothing. For example Hana the female character you can pick in the beginning of the game can be customized with all sorts of outfits (bikini being my favorite) and equipment.
With the guy it’s a lot worst because he has tight shirts and over the knee shorts. Seriously who wears short shorts? Along with normal and ripped pants. I don’t even want to talk about him wearing a bathing suit but since this is a review I must. His bathing suit consists of a small vest that only covers his shoulders and of course a short that’s over the knee. In other words the male character can be very gay.

There aren’t that many modes in Super Swing to keep you playing this game for long and unlike Mario Golf for the Gamecube this game only features one season mode called 'Pangya Festa' whereby you face other characters. Simply putt in one shot less than your opponent! Winning is everything or you cant move on.
In Stroke Play you play in one of 18 courses - all with 18 holes and this time your score is calculated by making Eagles, Birdies and Pars. You have to keep your score as low as possible in order to win.
Balloon Pop is somewhat of a Mini-game and in this mode you have to pop as many balloons as possible in order to defeat your opponent.
Match Play is similar to story mode where you face an opponent one on one and play a round of 18 holes, or less.
Super Swing Golf features a Multiplayer Stroke Play where you and up to three friends can battle it out in order to see who is the best golfer.
As there are only 4 courses when you first begin, unlocking stuff is the key! This is done by playing through the game and as well as courses you can unlock better equipment.
You can buy all your equipment in a Shop but it requires money just like all the other games. You can earn money by defeating rivals, making a good swing, making Par’s, Birdies and Eagles.

When talking about graphics, Super Swing does not put out when compared to Wii Golf.
Don’t get me wrong it is still an awesome game with OK graphics but I think the good people of Tecmo could have done more to make the graphics a little better than Wii Sports.
The sound is another thing: There is no voice-over except the people cheering in the background and the little voice that comes out every now and then and yells out "Pangya" when you make a good shot.
Over all this is a text game where you have to do more reading than you would do normally in school. You can skip all that reading by just pressing “A” but even then it takes a while for the conversation to finish.

The Controls are solid, very responsive and very easy to get used to. One little annoyance is that you have to point the Wii-mote at the screen and click next in order to move on. It would be easier if you can just press “A” and move on.

Whenever you are about to make a shot hole there’s nothing that will tell you if you need to go left or right. In other words, unlike Mario Golf where there is a grid showing you all the lumps and bumps, this game has nothing to let you know where you stand. This has cost me so many strokes and I've lost a lot of important games.
Also you cannot save while you’re in the middle of a game so you have to play all the way through.

Closing Comments: Overall, Super Swing Golf is a solid golf game, although it won’t win any awards with its inferior graphics and sound, the game-play is good. There aren’t enough modes but the fun multiplayer adds to the lifespan.
If you are a into Wii Golf in Wii Sports and want more fun than just 9 holes then you should consider this game

Game Play: Fun and addictive for people who love golf and for those who don’t. 10/10
Graphics: Inferior to Wii Golf but still OK. 7/10 Controls: Solid and easy to understand. 9/10 Sound: Great sound effects but no voice over and lousy music. 5/10 Life Span: Customizable characters and many courses ranging from 18 holes each. Not to mention the addictive game play that will keep you coming back. 10/10
