Quite an awsome little game. Yes folks it's time to go back to the monkey capers and slightly over the top British accents.
The graphics certainly look nice and smooth. The colours are easy on the eye. The plot begins with all the Monkey's being released into the Globe so they can...... Make TV shows? Hypnotic TV shows that is. So once again some kids (To be exact, a boy and a girl) must capture them all and save the world. You travel to various TV stations and sets for TV shows and capture the monkeys. Level one sees you on the set of a TV soap opera or something, two monkey's are getting married, one is in a tux, the other a white wedding dress. Yeah, a monkey in a wedding dress. It's humour like this that the franchise is famous for. You start out with a stun club, it looks like a light sabre, and you can use it to stun monkeys to stop them running until you nab them. You also have the net and a monkey radar. At level two you get a slingshot. Level two sees you running around a TV station, more monkeys to catch, when a monkey feels safe his/her helmet flashes blue. If they thought they heard/saw something, it goes yellow; if they see you it goes red. Their behaviour is altered based on this, weather they are normal, cautious, or panicking. One of the monkey's on the second level is dressed like Jay Leno, with an exaggerated haircut. You move your weapon with the left analogue stick, if you have the club moving the stick makes the character swipe in that direction. Same with the net. Pull back on the stick to use the catapult. Use Cross circle square and triangle to circle through the weapons. R1 for jump. An awesome game as compelling as the original. (I loved that one) You can see more screenshots for this game in our gallery. |
