There is another PSPVBA update available for download. For those of you not familiar with PSPVBA it is an emulator based on the popular Visual Boy Advance for Windows and Mac. This emulator will allow you to play GBA, GBC and GB ROMs.
This version of the PSPVBA is faster and smoother than all the other Versions that were out before. PSPVBA v1.1.0 changes: It works now on 2.5 and 2.6 FW (I’ve tested it using DevHook) All the graphic part has been rewritten to replace SDL by direct GU access (faster) Sound is now played at 22 KHz instead of 11 KHz (I can play it up to 44 KHz, it’s better but slower) The images are now smooth (using the GU) Snapshot files are now in PNG format (instead of BMP) ZX-81 has noted this will be the last version for 2.X firmware; ME (only available in 1.50) will be used from this point forward to further improve performance. You can Download this and other homebrew software for you PSP at: http://www.psp-hacks.com/ Remember you will need an old copy of GTA: LCS for the PSP to run this and any other emulators on FW 2.X. We are not held responsible if anything happens to your PSP while trying this or any other emulator. Source: www.psp-hacks.com |
