According to IGN amongst other gaming-news sites, Sony along with Bandai Namco Games have unveiled the name of the next-gen game in the Gundam series.
Titled, Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight - the new screenshots are based around a theme of having a destructable environment in which the player can level scenery and combat vehicles. As well as this, a Gundam Suit is succeptable to damage to specific areas, resulting in a hinderance relevant to where it was hit. Such tactical play is also a great advantage in single player campaigns. As for the storyline, you now have the choice to allign yourself with whomever you see fit as an ally. No Doubt this will result in many more 'personal' firefights between opposing players. Considered to be 60% complete by Famitsu, the game should launch quite closely to the PS3. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/722/722848p1.html |
