Finder Love: Aki Hoshino (there’s more to the title but I can’t speak Japanese) is basically about getting this girl to fall in love with you. I don’t know how that is possible seeing as this is just a game featuring a very hot model and probably will never pay attention to us just like all the other models. But that does not mean we cannot fantasize.

The story begins when she first arrives to a hotel and of course you notice her. Then you as the player have to take her out to diner and other places to keep her entertained. Of course no game is complete without a couple of shocking scenes and drama, and like a good person who wants to get laid at the end, you have to just have to keep talking and listening to her. Of course all of that is part of the story.

Aside from taking pictures of Aki Hoshino in real time video there are a couple of more mini-games as well to make your experience with her a romantic one(cough). Before the mini game starts you will be show a tutorial on how to score points in the game not with the chick.

One problem out of many that this game suffers from is you cannot pause in between the mini-games or through out the story. You also cannot save until the end of the chapter which will require you to play 20-30 min. So if you’re playing the game and your cell phone rings or something, you might as well take the lost or ignore the phone call.

At the end of the mini-game your score will be calculated and give you a letter grade of how well you did. If you did well in some mini-games you can get bonus time to improve your letter grade. Some mini-games you won’t want to play because it would require for you to know the Japanese Language. Aside from the mini-games and a couple of decision choosing words there is not much interaction in this game

This game does nothing for the graphics. The game can be turned into a flash game easily if anyone takes the time to do it. Pictures of real location as well as the actress were taken and compiled to make this game. There is also real time video footage taken but most of the time all you will see is talking pictures.

The controls of the game are very easy. Some mini-games only require for you to press the L and R button, others require the D-pad. In the story line you have to press the O to move through the words. Other than that there is really nothing else to say.

This game features the voice of Aki Hoshino; of course this is her game. The sound effects are average typical camera taking shots, score points and results. When you go back to story mode depending on the level you’re on you can hear the sound of people, birds, waves, etc.

If you love elevator music then you’ll definitely love the music in this game. The game features Jazz type music the same kind of music featured in porn. The music is not supposed to out stage the game play, but it wouldn’t hurt for the game to feature a few good tracks. Long story short, The Music is Terrible.

If you can make it past the first part of the game, it can offer a couple of hours of game play, but I don’t thing you would want to play this game for more than a couple of minutes. There’s no replay value other than the same old mini-games. Not to mention that these mini-games are so lame along with the entire game.

Aki Hoshino is one of the hottest Japanese Models out there, but this game is so lame and stupid you’ll probably be better off buying some of her DVD’s. The game has a lot of talking and not enough, or entertaining mini-games. Unless you’re a fan, desperate, lonely and wish to fantasize about her, you shouldn’t even waste your time checking this game out. There are 2 more games in the series but I think I’ll die of boredom if the other games in the series are like this one. I don’t think my fragile little mind can take that much punishment, it’s inhuman.

Game Play: short, easy to understand mini-games and real life video footage of Aki Hoshino. You don’t need to understand Japanese to play this game. 6/10

Graphics: video footage and talking pictures makes this game suitable for the eye toy on PS2 rather than a PSP game. 2/10

Controls: easy to understand and respond without delay only good part in the entire game along with the video footage of Aki Hoshino in her bikini. 7/10

Sound: Elevator Music. Do I need to say more? 1/10

Life Span: Long if you read all the japanese dialog, but not an entertaining game. Just go watch TV 1/10

Bonus Points: Video footage of Aki Hoshino in her bikini and in a towel. 5/5
