PSP beats PS3 and Wii Hardware Sales |

A first in the history of the PSP.
In a turn of events the PSP sold more than the PS3 and the Wii in Japan Just last week. Of course even though it beat PS3 and Wii it still wasnt enough to beat the DS which sold over 146000 units.
The PSP which sold over 96000 units has to thank capcom's own Monster Hunter Freedom 2 which came out at the # 1 spot selling over 700000 copies in as little as over a week.
Could there be a turn of events for the PSP? Not likely. Although Moster Hunter Freedom 2 is a great game it will only drive sales for so long and then die out. Then it will have to wait until Monster Hunter 3 comes out for the PSP to see these types of sales again, and not to mention this is only in Japan. We still have to see how the game performs in other countries as well
