Hackers state that the original Xbox has now been completely hacked |

We hacked, and we hacked, and we hacked some more. Have we really hit the end of the line?
A few days ago a post on xboxhaker.net, a comunity site where hackers from all over the world get together to talk xbox, stated that he had managed to hack the firmware on his Xbox DVD-ROM drive (model 8050L). This modified firmware would allow him to play backups of xbox games without a modchip, or softmod of any kind. Now don't start rejoicing just yet. Unfortunately, due to fear of the mighty Microsoft's crack legal team, no information on how this process was done was released. This fact has caused skeptics in the comunity to claim it's a sham, seeing as no proof was issued either.
