New PSP Slim Details Print

Some New Details have been discovered on the new PSP.PSP-News.gif

SCE is having a hard time reaching their goals for the PS3 and PSP. However with the $100 price drop in the US sales have rosen up 2500% however that wont last for long because the 60GB model will be replaced with the 80GB model and as soon as the 60GB models are gone from the stores they're gone forever.

With the handheld wars the DS is kicking the PSP's ass so much that if Nintendo Decided to stop production of the DS for 1 year the PSP still wouldn't be able to catch up. In oder to combat the DS SCE has redesigned the PSP and are introducing the New PSP. Jack Trenton Discussed the PSP CLICK HERE for the Video Interview and now a few new details have been discovered.

The new Detials go as follows:

- Its TA-085 PCB motherboard is homebrew-conducive.
- USB can be used to charge the battery.
- The battery has been shrunk from 1800mAh to 1200mAh, but retains hour rating.
- Old PSP remote is not compatible.
- WLAN switch has been relocated to top.
- TV-out cable is not included.

Every thing sounds great however the battery is the most important thing inside the whole PSP and with a battery that still does not improve the battery life, it really does not make this new psp worth getting. I would gladly trade in a few components from the new PSP or the old PSP for a better battery life.
