Chinese Parents tried to name their baby @ Print
Written by Donny

???????????K????????????

The whole world uses @ to write emails or to sensor a few things that such as @ss or other forms of bad language, but trying to name your baby after a symbol come on. What they hell are they smoking. If you are a new parent and are trying to scar your son for life might as well give him a girls name or some other useless name not just a symbol.

Anyway it is not that bad as I make it seem but the chinese know that the world uses the symbol @ to write emails however in the chinese language that means love him. Yes for some apparent reason thats what it means.

"While the "@" simple is familiar to Chinese e-mail users, they often use the English word "at" to sound it out -- which with a drawn out "T" sounds something like "ai ta", or "love him", to Mandarin speakers."

Another couple tried to give their child a name that rendered into English sounds like "King Osrina."

However the couple was unsuccessful seeing as how the chinese government banned all foreign languages that do not belong to chinese minority language. This includes symbols and what not.

There is a difference between being unique and being crazy. Think about it.
