In the wake of the new Yakuza 3 annoucement for the PS3 in Japan, Sony has decided to bring over the second installment of the series over to the United States.  The game was realeased in Japan almost a year ago in December 2006.  The first game in the series was released last year in the states to generally good reviews, and if this release does as well hopefully will see the release of Yakuza 3 internationally as well.

Unlike Yakuza 3, Yakuza 2 continues the story Kiryu Kazuma as the main character. The game will be set one year after the end of the first game.
