Sony today hint that the Buzz! quiz series is likely to arrive on both the PSP and PS3 around spring-time. On the PS3, we'll be getting Buzz! Quiz TV, while the handheld version remains non-specific at present.

The PSP version of the game should include a new multiplayer mode, with Relentless said to be working on both new versions of the game. The PSP title will include various categories, such as TV, sport, science, movies, etc.

5,000 questions will be included, with 1,000 pictures and videos used along the way. In multiplayer mode, various options will be available, allowing multiple contestants on one PSP, multiple PSPs with one copy of the game, or many of both. If you see what I mean.

Various singleplayer modes will also be offered.

I'm going to be perfectly honest here and say that... I've never played Buzz! properly. I tried to once, but it was really boring... But, yes, it should be great to get it on a handheld, especially if there's online play involved.
