... And the worst part of this is that people actually fall for this.

You are sitting at home one day telling yourself " Dude I want to buy Rockband but I only want the Drum set becuase it is the only controller that actually requires any real skill". You go over the the ebgamestop website and you see that if you buy both you actually get a discount so you hop into your car and you buy it.

How much is the discound you ask? $10 dollars. Yes buy a $60 dollar game and an $80 accessory and you will save $10 dollars. How stupid is this promotion that actually thinks many people will buy this. To be honest people will buy it. Just to save $10 bucks people will spend over $140 to buy 2 items and when you do the math, it doesn't add up.

Let's do the math shall we I just got off Calculus II so i'm still burning with the knowledge of math.

OK the Rock Band Kit Costs $170. Seperate you are looking to spend: $30 on Mic, $60 on Guitar, $80 on Drum set and $60 on the game so thats a total of $230 if you but them seperate. That is alot of money for a pretend band.

So the game costs $60 and the Drum Set costs $80 that is a total of $140 - $10 it all comes to $130. Ok So both of these will cost you $130 which if you have the money it is not bad. But if you are stranded for cash You can always buy the entire kit and sell the accessories you do not need. For example if Im ever going to buy rock band I will only buy it for the game and the drum set. But instead of buying it seperately I can buy the whole Kit which I found it once on sale for only $160 and sell off the Guitar and the Mic.

The Microphone you can sell it for $25 on amazon and teh Guitar you can sell for lets say $45. Let's not be greedy here. So total you will get back $70 which gives you the Drum Set and the game for $100. You can sell the accessories at a higher price but That was just an estimate on How Much I think You will get.

So there you have it. Save $10 on Gamestop if you buy it seperatly or save $40 to $60 if you buy the whole kit and sell the accessories you do not need.
