Over the past 8 years, every Sonic game Sega releases they promise that it will successfully translate the series into 3D, but then once the game comes out ultimately fails.  This time Sega is tweking the gameplay and adding some new powers that actually makes me want to believe them this time.  I can't wait to get my hands on this game and get some play time with it.  The game almost seems like a mix between Sonic Rivals and Sonic and the Secret Rings with mix between side and third person perspectives.  I think this may be the first 3D console Sonic game that will make due on Sega's promises.  Take a look at the new teaser trailer that they have recently released.
