Young Girl Offended when Wii Fit dubbed her "FAT" Print
Written by Donny

When Nasa calls and tells you that you're gravitational pull is bringing down their satellites. Obviously you are fat.

Why must people suffer for telling the truth? We live in a society where people must go through filters in order to tell a joke so that other people don't get offended. Where what we say can cause someone to lose their jobs or go to sensitivity camp for an unpleasant weekend getaway.

People will always try to censor any type of media in order to "Protect" their children and no game is safe from this curse. The Wii Fit Nintendo's family friendly exercise game has in fact offended some people who are dubbed FAT or Obese.

Overseas, a young 10-year-old Britain girl was upset when her BMI measured "overweight".

"I was horrified, I would have smashed the game, there's no excuse for that," said Julie Boocks.

If people get offended by looking at the truth then we might as well live in Wonderland with Michael Jackson drinking Jesus juice. Yes I agree children shoul be protected from bad things like sex, violence and rock and roll but when you get offended and outraged when someone calls your kid fat even though they really are fat then maybe you should lock your child away in the attic for the rest of their lives.

Nintendo of course to protect their Asses have come out with an apology. If I were a Nintendo rep I would have probably said  " Thats what the game is all about if it says you are fat then lose some weight". Of course I would have probably been fired the next day.
