Fun Things to do in Super Smash Bros Brawl Print

Like we really need anything to make this game more fun...but you should give this a try.

It's called Smashopoly.  And it's basically playing a game of Monopoly (and a little bit of Chess) in Smash Bros Brawl.  This game is best played with three players, each taking the role of a different Evil King (Bowser, Ganondorf, and Dedede).  A fourth Player can use Wario, or another villain.  You start your game deciding who gets what venues.  For example, to decide which of you rules the Mushroom Kingdom, you each pick a Mario Character (must be different characters if different characters are available to that series) and fight a 3 man stock battle.  Winner takes the Kingdom.  You do that until each series is under someone's rule (Excluding Snake, Samus, Captain Falcon, and ROB, who are wild card mercs and can be sent in if you don't want to use a particular character from a particular series, although if you lose as these characters, they die and can't be used again), and then the real fun starts.

From here, you start a conquest on the other players.  In order to win the game you must have control over every area (Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, DK Island...not necessarily each stage, but each represented series), so you must take over your opponents areas.  You can send in any character from an area you own to do battle for dominance in your opponents area, but if they come for you, you have to use either a character from the franchise being attacked, or one of the aforementioned mercs.  Win on the offensive, and you gain the area you attacked.  Lose the offensive, and your opponent gets control over the board, and can take you on for your areas.

Once a Player loses all of their areas, they still have one last chance.  It's where the Kings come in.  If you lose your last area, it immediately becomes your turn to choose.  You have to fight as your King, whether that be Bowser, Dedede, or Ganondorf (no mercs this time) and win the battle to take or take back an area.  Lose the King's Plea (as I like to call it) and you defect to the person who beat you, and fight with them against the other players until one person rules all.

This is a fun one to do offline because its too hard to get four people who want to do it online, but it's a fun time if you've finished the story mode, and are looking for more outside just random multiplayer matches.  Keep a pen and paper handy if you play however, so you can keep track over who has gotten what.

And with that, happy Smashing!
