But is this going to be like the average sequel movie or will it be even better than number one. Open up, ITS MARIO TIME.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a fun sequel to Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The double screen lets you check out your map and suitcase inventory without having to screw around with pausing the game, a feature that seems to becoming increasingly popular with DS games. I love that Nintendo isn’t trying to force all of their DS titles to use the touch screen and dual screen in some super special way. One of the coolest things about this game is that the rumble pack that you get with Metroid Prime Pinball works to add vibration to the game. (Something the Nintendo demo guy didn’t even know.) I tested it out and it seems to work quite well. I didn’t play long enough to get a true sense of how often it will be used in the game, but every time something fell from the sky the DS vibrated. I was delighted to find that the vibration feature was not used to accentuate the many jumps in the game. That would have been annoying as hell. Despite the fact that the rumble pack did seem a bit noisy in pinball, it wasn’t that noticeable in this game. I’m guessing that’s because the pack only vibrates for a second or two at a time and not for long periods of time like it did with pinball. source - kotaku thanks to Brian D.
