Well the Kong is coming to it. But can it save or put off the GBA's death? Read on!
It’s obvious that the people who put together the GameBoy version of King Kong knew the handheld’s limitations. Instead of trying to recapture the dark, moody and very realistic feel of the console version, GB Kong has more of a fun comic book feel to it. Unfortunately, from what I played, that was all that was fun about the game. To be fair, I have to point out that this is the game that I spent the absolute least amount of time on, but there was a reason for that. I started in an area where I controlled Kong and all I was doing was using two buttons to attack with or a third button to smack the ground with. The level switched back and forth between having me smack down enemy critters and having me dodge other, larger enemy critters. The graphics were OK, but certainly didn’t make up for the seeming lack of good gameplay. source- kotaku thanks to Brian D.
