When it comes to sales, Nintendo is lighting cigars made of $100 bills and lighting them up with another $100 bill.

When it comes to hardware Nintendo is still #1 for some apparent reason. The Wii took home the trophy full of cash with Wii hardware sales of 687,000 Units for the month of september. With the announcement of the DSi the DS is still racking in huge sales with a total of 536,800.

As for Software what else but Nintendo's very own would be in the top 10. WiiFit came in second place with a total 518,000 Units sold. Mario Kart Wii which was a huge disappointment to me came in 7th place with 243,000 units sold. As for Star Wars fans who have been waiting for a Star Wars game on the Wii in my opinion the sales were disappointing in my opinion. The Force Unleashed came in 9th place on the Wii with 223,000 Copies sold. 

Nintendo is not sweating it at the time being. Of course why would they, their consoles aren't showing signs of slowing down and people are still waiting to see what they are going to do next and even waiting for announcements on a few titles.
