Remeber when Rockband was being sold for $170?
When Guitar Hero First launched you could get the game and the Guitar for about $70 Bucks. Then Guitar Hero 2 came out with a price tag of $80. Now you can expect to pay top dollar for a game that shouldn't cost more than it did when it first came out. As these types of games get more and more popular the company will try to squeeze as much money as they can out of you and chances are people will still buy into them.
When Rockband was first released it went on sale for $160 to $170 depending on the system you wanted it for. Now Rockband 2 is carrying a price tag of $190. Does it include extra accessories? No. Can you get some free downloads? No.
With Rockband getting more popularity chances are within the next few installments of the series we might have to pay over $200 for the same game and the same accessories we got when Rockband first debuted for only $160. Even the Wii version is selling for $190. This is really pathetic if you ask me.
