Samsung offers Netflix movie streaming via their Blu-Ray Players. Print
Written by Donny

There's a reason why netflix is always ahead of the game.

Samsung has recently started to allow Netflix video streaming through their Samsung Blu-Ray Players. As of now only the BD-P2500 and BD-P2550 which have a broadband connection, are the only ones capable of streaming video. The update for the service is free however a netflix subscription is required.

Thats the good news for all you netflix users however the bad news is that while the Samsung Players are capable of HD video viewing the netflix video streaming service is not capable of HD content. It is unknown whether or not this feature will be coming soon or not but chances are it will.

Both Samsung players retail for $400 but Netflix has also stated that it wishes to intergrate their products into Sony and Panasonic products as well. Could we be viewing Netflix movies on our PS3's soon? Only time will tell.
