E3 says it will expand for the 09 Expo. Time to break out your peace pipes in celebration.

Ever since E3 took away the gamer girls and moved to a small location somewhere in Santa Monica it has not been the same. It has attracted less people and of course if there is money involved they haven't made it yet. However this coming year E3 will move back to the LA convention center and expand.

“After conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, ESA officials stated changes were necessary to better meet the needs of both exhibitors and attendees -— these changes include increased booth sizes, increased qualified audiences, and an intensified focus on reinforcing the high-octane growth, innovation, and captivating entertainment that are driving the computer and video game industry,”

 The question will be if E3 will be back to its old roots or will it just expand but continue to be closed to the public and what will be the future of the Efor all event? who knows.
