Use 4GB Mem Cards on Wii Print
Written by Donny

With this little hack you're not just stuck using a small 2GB Memory Card.

Lets face it when it comes to storage the Wii sucks. So far it can only handle 2GB memory cards even though they can go as far as 64GB of storage(you didn't hear this from me). However this little hack allows you to use 4GB memory cards that are recognized by the Wii.

The tutorial over at cheap ass games will show you how to use it. The trick is to fill the SD memory card with dummy data such as music and pictures and fill it up as long as the data on the Memory card has 2GB of data remaining. After you fill up the ramaining data you can erase the dummy data in order to store more Wii data onto the card.

This method has only been tried on the 4GB but chances are it will work on the 8GB if you follow the same method although don't quote me on that that is just my guess as I have tried the same thing on other devices which only read 2GB memory cards.
